We have picked up where the contractor left off on the restoration of 8 cast iron fireplaces in Clapham. The fireplaces had been partially stripped with paint stripper.
We have now removed all 8 surrounds for sandblasting and highlighting, they will be reinstated with slate hearths and reproduction cast iron tiled inserts.
We are also restoring a slate surround and reinstalling with a reproduction cast iron tiled insert and slate hearth and supplying 3 reproduction marble surrounds along with tiled inserts and slate hearths.
