Fireplaces restored and fitted in Wandsworth (SW18) and Tonbridge (TN11).

In Wandsworth (SW18),  South West London, we refitted 2 antique cast iron combinations we had previously removed for restoration. Both of the original combination fireplaces were sandblasted and refinished in a subtle highlight finish. One was refitted on a slate hearth for use as a gas coal effect fireplace with supplied templated gas coal burner, the other was installed purely for decorative purposes. In Tonbridge (TN11), Kent, we returned to an old customers house to refit an original Victorian slate surround we had previously removed for restoration. The slate surround was stripped of all the old paint and separated into panels, then it was re-polished and rebuilt. The Victorian cast iron arched insert was sandblasted and then refinished in our heatproof matt black paint, the fireplace was refitted for solid fuel on a new slate hearth.
